Ardersier Village

Ardersier and Petty Community Council are keen to promote and develop your area. This will include working with the statutory agencies and other partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors to generate more economic activity; create more employment; and develop the village infrastructure and resources.

We are keen to support the inauguration of a Community Company or Development Trust (e.g. Ardersier Development Company Ltd) as a means of attracting a range of funding opportunities that can be used to develop the village.

Development Trusts (www.dtascot.org.uk ) offer a fresh approach to community regeneration. Independent and under community control, these organisations draw together the energy, commitment and creativity of local people to tackle local issues. Through enterprise and the ownership of local assets, development trusts address the economic, social, cultural and environmental needs of their communities.
